I’m Scared Of Sarkodie – Sista Afia
Ghanaian Afro-pop diva, Sista Afia has revealed she’s very scared of the King of African rap music and the Boss of Sarkcess Music, Sarkodie.
Sista Afia has worked with some top producers and musicians in the country with a number of hit songs to her credit.
Despite all these, the ‘Jeje’ hitmaker says she fears to approach the Boss of Sarkcess Music, Sarkodie.
Sista Afia was asked by a fan when she was going to drop a collaboration between herself and Ghana’s fastest rapper Sarkodie on Kumasi-based Y FM with NYDJ.
In response to the question, she revealed she was extremely scared of the rapper hence the inability to approach him.
According to her, Sarkodie is someone who has been in the industry for a long time now. Adding that, aside that, he has built a solid brand and has earned lots of respect and admiration from people across the globe.
Hence, she fears to approach the ‘Illuminati’ hitmaker. She was however optimistic that she will overcome her fears soon and make that move on Sarkodie.
“Sarkodie has been in this industry for so long a time and built a very respectable and solid brand that makes it hard to touch him. Although I know he’s been very receptive to a number of young talents and has a very good heart especially for the female musicians, my fear is whether he would want to associate with the young brand, I’ve built or accepted a feature from me”, she said.
Born Francesca Duncan Williams, she made her debut in the music industry with her song ‘Kro Kro No’ in 2015.
Sista Afia has since warmed the hearts of many with her songs. For her love and passion for music, she left her career in nursing in UK. She’s finally settled in Ghana to pursue full time music.
Sista Afia has released a couple of hit songs including Jeje which featured Shatta Wale, Yi W’ani, Are You Ready?, Kofi, Pass U.
She also recently released her new single titled ‘Slay Queen’.
The song is already enjoying massive airplay on various platforms across the country.
