Over the weekend, Black Panther premiered across the globe. It is the newest movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The premiere had people showing up in African-inspired looks. It was a way for people to celebrate Blackness and being African.
Moreover, Ghanaians joined the celebration. Over the weekend, Ghanaians took to the Silverbird cinemas to watch the movie. Most of the attendees looked like royalty.
However, a lot of people have castigated Ghanaians for showing excitement about an American Movie. In their opinion, this level of should be geared towards Ghanaian movies.
