Organise Ghana Meets Naija For Gospel Acts – John Winner

Musician, John Winner appeals to organisers of the annual Ghana Meets Naija.

Furthermore, according to him the gospel sectors needs their own edition of the concert.

He made these statements to Abrantepa on Radio Univers’ Brunch2Lunch.

Moreover, he mentioned that gospel musicians like secular acts, are able to give patrons value for money. Therefore, they needed to be supported to be able to do more.

Furthermore, the Tema-based artiste gave reasons for his suggestion.

He stated that gospel is a business and not just a ministry. Also, he indicated that although the main aim of a gospel musician should be winning souls, the business aspect cannot be overlooked.

“There is the business aspect although it’s a ministry. Jesus had Judas around him because he was His treasurer; he needed some kind of funding to push his ministry. When you put me on a program and I see a lot of sponsors on, then definitely, you have to pay me. However, when it comes to church settings, I just make them take care of my band.”
