My Label Is Not Like Zylofon Music – Matthew Perry
Record label manager, Matthew Perry talks about talent management. He stated that when he setup One Phame Entertainment in 2008, his dream was not to sign big names to make his business. However, he wanted to hone talents for Ghana’s music industry.
He contributed to the careers of talents that moved on to become mainstream acts.
In an interview, Matthew revealed that he is unlike labels like Zylofon Music. This is because he is more focused on nurturing and developing young talents into stardom.

“Unlike other labels investing in already made artists, One Phame Entertainment specializes in nurturing and grooming talents. I was involved in the careers of many artists who have moved on and made hits but now I’m focusing on a few talents. Recently, Agbeshie made the label proud by winning the Artiste of the Year Award at the 2018 Volta Music Awards.”
