My Kind Of Comedy Has Faded — Fritz Baffour

Fritz Baffour talks about comedy.

Veteran comedian, Fritz Baffour gets candid about the current comedy in Ghana. Furthermore, the comedia used to be a former Information Minister. Moreover, without mincing words he stated that his kind of comedy is gone. He said he’s not interested in the kind of comedy Ghanaian comedians put out there.

Also, he used to be a Member of Parliament for Ablekuma South Constituency.

Fritz Baffour made these statements in an interview with Kojo Preko Dankwa on Kasapa FM

“My kind of comedy has faded and I can’t do the new kind of comedy. Maybe I can act in a sitcom but to do a stand-up comedy, I can’t do it.”

Right now, there are comedians like DKB, Foster Romanus, David Aglah, OB, Khemikal, Jacinta, and Lekyzy De Comic. These comedians are trying to put Ghana on the map through comedy. However, Fritz Baffour is of the view that a lot needs to be done to arouse the interest on Ghanaians in comedy.

Fritz took up comedy after returning from the United Kingdom. Also, he rubbished rumours that he did that as a result of his joblessness.
