Musician Cries On Radio After Remembering How Ex-Wife Divorced Him

Ghanaian singer, Kay Smooth talks about the breakup of his marriage. Furthermore, it seems he cannot get over his ex-wife years after going their separate ways.

Moreover, the singer just released his latest single, “Odo Yede” with Shatta Wale.

He had an interview at Kasapa FM in Accra to promote the new song. However, on the show whilst singing along to his song he shed tears in distress, pain, and sorrow.

The host questioned about the cause of the sob and he replied that he had remembered his former partner. However, she left him because she thought he was cheating. According to him, the song, “Sweet Honey” was recorded as a result of the experience with the ex-wife. The budding musician further revealed that the ex-lover had the notion that he was cheating on her since he came home at odd hours.

Kay Smooth denied ever cheating on his wife also disclosed that he was running around town to promote his songs since he was an up and coming artiste and needed to roam about just to get airplay for his songs.

“I recorded this song specially for my ex-wife. When I released “Naa Adjeley” in 2012, I had to spend time and promote the tune since I was new artiste and didn’t have money. I used to go home around 3AM so she felt I’m cheating but that was not the case. I just wanted to make something out of the talent God has given me but she did not understand.”
