Most Musicians Don’t Even Know They’re Depressed – Stonebwoy
CEO of Bhim Nation Music label, Stonebwoy says a lot of creative people in the Ghanaian
music industry have no idea they are depressed.
According to him, the demand and pressure in the entertainment sphere would require that
artistes take some time off their schedules to relax.

“It’s not easy coming from artiste point of view; the works, demands, expectation… we don’t realise when we are depressed, we only go through a phase. It’s not healthy at all.” He said during an interview on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM.
On how he gets over depression, he said;
“I try to calm down and rest. The over-expectation is more and I think we go through that a lot unknowingly. I love to be by myself and alone and most often doing nothing literally. My circle is close so I am very private person. I find entertainment in entertaining the people.”
