Most Ghanaian Artists Are Into ‘Sakawa’ – Edem

Ghanaian rapper, Edem talks about his colleagues in the industry. Moreover, he made a shocking revelations about the flashy lifestyles of fellow musicians. He spoke about how these musicians make their money.

According to Edem, it is difficult to live extremely good in Ghana as a musician. Therefore, one must look out for ways and means to double the figures. In the quest to do that, most of them especially the males go to the extreme way of getting money. These ways include internet fraud otherwise known as “Sakawa”.

He made these statements in an interview with DJ Reuben on Luv FM’s Drive Time. Edem revealed that the flashy lifestyle of some artist are not linked to the shows and royalties alone but rather ‘Sakawa’.

However, he failed to mention names of such artists but the flashy lifestyles of some of the artists will give you a fair idea of what he is talking about
