Merqury Quaye Throws Shots At DJs

Radio presenter, Mercury Quaye talks about conduct of DJs. Lately, a lot of DJs in Ghana play the popular songs of musical acts billed to perform before the artist gets on stage.

Therefore, the award-winning DJ with Hitz FM added his two cents.

“So when at all are our DJs going to stop this thing? They play all hit songs of an artist billed for the same show before the act comes on stage. Which songs do they expect the Musician to entertain the crowd with after their things?”

Merqury Quaye wrote:

“It is absolutely unprofessional. I have seen a number of DJs doing that probably because they did not have a grip on the ethics of the art. I educate those anytime I chance on them. There is an exception; a DJ can tease the audience with a couple of seconds of a song of a performing artiste.”
