Meet Four Ghanaian Artistes Who Have ‘Hijacked’ Radio And TV Stations With Their Hit Tracks
Ghanaians have over the years, seen and enjoyed great and melodious songs from various artistes. The Ghana music industry also continues to witness a lot of great talents who are on daily bases making the nation proud.
Over the years, some popular household names such as Obrafour, Reggie Rockstone, Obour, Samini among others seem to be giving way for a new crop of generation.
Although this is a common practice in every industry, what is interesting is the overwhelming rate at which these young artistes have virtually taken over major radio and television stations across the country with their songs. Of course, it’s not so easy for on e to achieve this, and that one too as a new artiste.
These artistes though new in the system, one can easily conclude that they have succeeded in curving a unique niche for themselves with their level of consistency with their instant hit songs. In this week, we have identified top four young Ghanaian artistes who are breaking through the music industry and winning the hearts of music lovers with their banging songs.
Although this is debatable, what is quite evident is that the young musicians have completely hijacked our radio and television stations with their songs.
There’s no two ways about the fact that, no day passes by without us hearing songs, especially those listed below being played on any our TV or radio stations.

1. Kuami Eugene
Born Eugene Marfo, the upping musician who rose to fame was a participant of the music reality show, MTN Hitmaker- season 5 where he showcased his musical prowess to the world with outstanding performances.
The 19 year old singer and rapper has also joined the list of the multiple awards winning female dancehall act, MzVee under the management of Lynx Entertainment. His name has become one of the greatest household name with his constant release of hit tracks such as Boom Bang Bang, Fadama Boy, Haribaba and Angela.

2. Ebony Reigns
Born Priscilla Opoku- Kwarteng, but widely known as Ebony Reigns, she rose to fame with her hit song ‘Poison’. She is also known for her hit songs , ‘Kupe’, and ‘Date Your Father’.

Kidi
Dennis Nana Dwamena, known by his stage name Kidi, is a young budding Ghanaian R&B musician who won the MTN hitmaker 4 in 2015. He is known for his hit songs such as ‘Say You Love Me’, ‘Never Again’, ‘Odo’ etc.

4. Fancy Gadam
Real name, Mujahid Ahmed Bello, he won the New Artist of the year award at the 2017 Ghana Music Awards. He released his first album titled ‘Kalipo’ in 2011 and has performed with great artistes like Davido, Wizkid among others. His recent song ‘Total Cheat’, which features Sarkodie is among the current songs that have hijacked our airwaves.
