Martin Amidu To Question John Dumelo, Others About State Properties

John Dumelo is still answering questions about the V8.

It seems Special Prosectuor, Martin Amidu, is diving right into the thick of things.

According to a Presidential Staffer, Amidu’s office would look into prosecuting Dumelo and other similar celebrities and journalists. These are those who might have illegally acquired state vehicles under the previous government.

Last year, Dumelo had controversy. State security officials stopped Dumelo. Apparently, he had two V8 vehicles. Furthermore, it seems he had acquired them under the previous government.

Therefore, the vehicles were impounded. This is because they still belonged to the state.

However, the actor claimed he purchased the vehicles and was in the process of having it sprayed when it was retrieved.

Odeneho Nana Oppong is the Director in charge of Transport and Logistics at the Presidency. According to him, they have acquired evidence Dumelo illegally acquired the cars. Therefore, it would be handed over to Amidu once he commences his work.

His Statement About John Dumelo’s Situation

“We now have enough evidence of his illegal acquisition of the cars. John Dumelo together with other journalists will face the Special Prosecutor.”
