Video: Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin Storms Obinim’s Church To Receive His UN Award
Kumawood actor and musician, Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win, has been honoured by the International Godsway Church led by head pastor Bishop Daniel Obinim.
He has been awarded by The United Nations for his efforts in campaigning against illegal immigration in West Africa. This forms part of the Institution’s effort to fight the canker.
The awards event was came off on Sunday 29th April 2018 at the International Godsway Church of Bishop Daniel Obinim.
Lilwin was presented with a plague as well as a medal by founder of the church, Bishop Daniel Obinim.
He thrilled the congregation with some dance moves as the instrumentalists played his famous “ladder” song before climbing mounting the stage for his award.
The “akyire asem” crooner after receiving his award extended his gratitude to all his fans for their endless support.
He also dedicated the award to the former CEO of COCOBOD, Dr. Stephen Opuni, before walking off to a raucous applause from the congregation.
A number of great Ghanaians were also honored besides Lilwin. They include Kenpong, a business mogul and Prophet Badu Kobi of the Glorious Wave Ministry. Some traditional leaders in the country were also selected for the United Nations (UN) Excellent Sustainable Development award.
Meanwhile, Lilwin is yet to release another single titled ‘3y3 Wo Dea’, which features comic actor, Kalybos.
