Kofi Nti To Shoot New Music Video In USA Under New Record Label

Contemporary Ghanaian highlife artiste, Kofi Nti, is set to shoot a new music video under his new record label.

The shoot is scheduled to take place in the United States of America by June/July this year.

Kofi Nti is a prolific singer who has been in the Ghanaian music industry for some years now.

He was massively active and a force to reckon with in the early 2000’s when it came to music.

However, the sensational artistes has been behind closed doors for sometimes now.

But he’s back and ready to take over from where he left. He has secured for himself a juicy deal with a record label in the United States called Bizzi Records.

As per the the contract rules, Bizzi Records is to take full control of the artiste’s management. This includes his songs and videos production to take the image of the artiste to the next level in his music career.

The new manager of Kofi Nti, known as Kamel Seidu, revealed in an interview with Oilcitytoday.com that his new label are working hard to put Kofi Nti’s works on the world map.

“Kofi Nti is one of the biggest highlife artists in the country. The new management is working with to push his great works to the world. We will take the opportunity to master some of his songs and shoot new videos for him in the USA”, he said.

Kamel also disclosed that their artiste is working on his new album which will be released very soon.

“Plans are still on the way to send Kofi Nti management team based in Ghana together with his dancers to the USA for a short vacation including a video shoot with all expenses duly paid by his new music label Bizzi Records”. He added.

Kofi Nti (originally Theophilus Kofi Nti) was born on January 24, 1980 in Aburi (Eastern Region). Kofi is one of three boys.

He began working in the music business after attending the Secondary Cycle Institution. That was when he collaborated with musical star Okyeame Kojo Kum.

Kofi Nti released his first solo album, ‘Wake Up’ in 2002 to a moderately warm reception. His second album however, did much better on the Ghanaian market. It featured collaborations from other popular Ghana musicians including KK Fosu, and Ofori Amponsah.

He released ‘Attention’ a year ago which was a great song featuring Afriyie Wutah and the Fante rap god Kofi Kinaata.

Kofi, however, has hit songs such as, Atwetaan, Odo Nnwom, Rakia, Monica, just to mention a few to his credit.
