Kintampo Waterfalls Now Safe – Supervisor
Kintampo Waterfalls is open.
Tourist attraction, the Kintampo waterfalls opens up for business again. Moreover, according to the supervisor of the place, it’s now safer and more attractive.
The supervisor, Franklin Owusu made these statements on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM.
Furthermore, last year, tragedy befell patrons at the tourist attraction.

Also, at least 20 people died after the tragic incident. This was after a tumbling tree crushed them during a rainstorm.
Moreover, Mr Owusu said safer measures are in place at the popular tourist site.
“For three months the place has been opened to the public, patronage is very encouraging, people are coming.”
Furthermore, Mr Owusu stated that all aged trees that posed a danger to patrons have been felled while cover trees were being planted.
Also, there is a new stairwell leading to the waterfall, changing rooms for tourists, showers installed, pitches for football and volleyball among other modern structures.
Moreover, he stated that there is security “and we have first aid people around.”
