Junior Agogo Looking Healthy And On His Feet
Junior Agogo is looking good. The former Black Stars footballer is back on his feet looking healthy. This comes after he suffered a stroke in 2015.
Recently, Junior Agogo had a BBC interview where he opened up about the stroke he suffered. He also spoke about the Aphasia, the condition he got after which severely affects a person’s ability to use language.
The interview with the BBC Four documentary was to raise awareness of Aphasia on World Stroke Day. Junior Agogo, the former Nottingham Forest and Bristol Rovers striker, was visibly seen struggling to put words together.
He stated that he had thoughts but could not speak as a result of the stroke. “I had thoughts but where is my voice man?” Junior Agogo said during the interview.
Also, it was revealed that his mother single-handedly took care of him during the ordeal. However, Junior Agogo has been seen getting back to his feet and engaging in outdoor activities.
Junior Agogo still visits the Neuro Rehab Unit of the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in London’s Queen Square. Meanwhile, he is trying to get back into the world with depleted language.
