I’m Still An Underground Artiste – Kelvynboy
Ghanaian afrobeats sensation, Kelvynboy talks about his position in the music industry. Moreover, for some time now he has some appreciable number of hit songs to his credit. However, he refuses to blow his achievements out of proportion.
According to him, he’s not a mainstream act. Therefore, to tag himself as on is a hyperbole. He made these statements on the ‘Uncut’ show.
Furthermore, he stated that describing himself as a mainstream act in the Ghanaian music industry isn’t easy. There are things he needs to do in order to attain that status.
The host asked when he thinks he will be a mainstream artist. Kelvynboy stated that when it happens, everyone will know his name. Also, stated that his upcoming EP ‘Time’ is the connection with the explosion of his music career
Kelvynboy also corrected the misconception out there that purports that he might never be a mainstream artiste unless he breaks away from Stonebwoy and his Burniton music. He states vehemently that it was totally false because if it is time for him to become mainstream, nothing can stop it.
