I’m Disappointed In Amanpour – DKB

DKB wades into the Christiane Amanpour brouhaha.

Comedian, DKB expresses his resentment towards CNN’s International Correspondent, Christiane Amanpour. Furthermore, this was about her defence of controversial actress Moesha Buduong.

Last week, Moesha Buduong in an interview with Christiane Amanpour said she sleeps with married men for her livelihood. Moreover, this was due to the sate of the economy in Ghana.

However, the statement didn’t go down well with Ghanaians. It stirred anger against the actress.

Furthermore, Christiane Amanpour was against the backlash towards the actress.

According to her, women everywhere should be able to speak freely about sex and love.

However, DKB responded to Amanpour’s statement. He said he is highly disappointed in the journalist for calling Moesha a courageous person for opening up about her love life to the world.

Moreover, he questioned if Amanpour would have had the guts to call Moesha a courageous person if she had slept with her husband.

DKB’s comments about Christiane Amanpour

“I’m very disappointed in you for calling somebody who sleeps with married men courageous. Christiane Amanpour, if it had been your husband that Moesha was sleeping with, will you call Moesha courageous? Adultery is frowned upon by the law in Ghana and America so why will you call somebody who sleeps with people’s husbands courageous. Really?”

“Who has time to attack Moesha really? We have laws in this country, we are guarded by laws. This is not a jungle, the image you have been painting of us, poor people living with houseflies on their nose, we are not in a jungle. We have laws so nobody will attack Moesha, for what? Who will attack Moesha when Obinim is busy speaking Chinese for us to hear.”
