I Have Sold Three Of My VGMAs Awards For Charity – Kwaw Kese
Hiplife artiste, Kwaw Kese talks about his past VGMA awards. Moreover, he revealed he sold three of his VGMA Awards some years ago for charity. However, he declined to disclose the specific amount he sold these awards.
He made these statements to Dr Pounds in an interview on Adom FM.
The host asked why someone will buy an award which apparently has no value. However, Kwaw stated that the person felt very proud buying the award plaque at the time. He explained that this excitement of the person buying it was born out of the fact that he was going to have an award which was won by the Kwaw Kese. This was the 2008 VGMA Artiste of the Year winner.
Furthermore, the host asked if he would sell more of his awards. Kese revealed he will have no problem selling another one if someone brings a reasonable amount.
He, however, failed to disclose the amount he will sell it for, stating that the negotiations will be done off radio for anybody who wants to buy it.
Kwaw made it clear to the public during the conversation that returns from the sales was used to help the needy.
