Ghanaian musician, Kwesi Arthur says there was a point where his career was stagnant. There was nothing happening musically. Therefore, he decided to get a job as a security guard.

Kwesi Arthur on stopping music and becoming a security guard

The singer made these statements on Okay FM. Moreover, he stated that at the beginning of his career he was working with a producer who gave him studio sessions and other help. However, at a point they got an issue and that put an abrupt end to his music career.

Due to the issues there was no way forward for him and without music he was simply in the house with his family members always on his neck to get a job.

Arthur added that due to the pressure, he applied and got a job as part of a security company. However, just before he started the producer called him to sort their issues and that led to the resumption of his music career.
