I Contemplated Suicide – Josh Larye

Josh Laryea speaks out.

Last year, International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) suspended Rev Josh Laryea. Moreover, the suspension was over sexual misconduct.

Furthermore, the whole affair took the nation by storm. However, now Josh opens up about the allegations.

Josh Laryea spoke about it on Starr FM’s Starr Drive.

In the interview, he stated that he contemplated suicide  the moment that. This is because everyone including mentors and friends let him down.

“I may have gone mad, I may have been dead…At a point, I thought of suicide..”

In 2017, The Church Council of ICGC issued a letter stated they arrived at a decision to suspend Rev Laryea. Furthermore, after receiving a report against the pastor.

The letter indicated that “The Presbytery has authorised the Disciplinary Committee to look into the allegations levelled against Rev. Laryea”.

Rev. Josh Laryea quit the church. Moreover, he established the Charis International Church where he currently serves as the head pastor.

Also, he has a new album with Nacee.

However, he states the album will be preceded by a single followed by another on his birthday.
