I Am The New Fela Kuti Of Our Time — Epixode

Epixode talks about distinguishing himself.

Ghanaian dancehall/ reggae artiste, Epixoce tags himself as the new Fela Kuti of our time.

He explained in an interview on ‘VibesIn5’ with Arnold Baidoo. Furthermore, he stated that there is no difference between the paintings on his face and that of the popular Nigerian Trumpeter, Fela Kuti.

Also, he disclosed that the mystery behind the paintings on his face just like that of Fela Kuti’s distinguishes him from the many Dancehall artistes in Africa.

“Last year I was at the Harare International Concert, I realized that people could not tell the difference between Ghanaian artiste and the Jamaicans doing reggae/Dancehall even though I was fully clad in our national colours on that tour.

“So I decided to incorporate my paintings skill. I settled on my face paintings…When you see Epixode, you should identify me with the paintings on my face just like Fela. So I’m the new Fela.”
