Mr. Roi added that they should need to snap out of the archaic way of always singing in church during Sundays.
He however advised these artistes to start making money with their talents in the outside world.
According to Willi Roi, he believes the mentality (“I am doing for it for God”) is one of the factors why Ghanaian gospel musicians are not able to make it to the top.
“They need to explore the business aspect of their career. They should stop binding themselves with misquotations of the word of God,” he said.
Willi was speaking as a pundit on Zylofon FM’s Showbiz Agenda with host, Sammy Flex.
