Ghanaian Airwaves Now Full Of ‘Gibberish’ Songs — Akosua Agyapong
Ghanaian highlife singer, Akosua Agyapong expresses her disappointment in Ghanaian DJ’s. Furthermore, this is over them not playing songs with good lyrics on their various radio stations.
Furthermore, according to Agyapong, DJ’s stopped playing songs from veteran musicians. These songs contain good and reasonable lyrics. However, they fill the airwaves with songs without meanings.
She disclosed this during an interview with Zylofon FM’s Neeta on Showbiz Agenda. She indicated that some of the radio stations charge money before songs from the veteran musicians are played.

“If I release a song, I’m expected to pay. However, these young artistes enjoy free airplay though our songs make much more meaning than theirs.”
