Ghana Police Declares Entire GFA Premises A ‘Crime Scene’
The repercussions are in for Ghana Football Association.
GFA President, Kwesi Nyantakyi resigned from his position at both FIFA and and CAF by default. Furthermore, FIFA banned him from football for 90 days. Moreover, this pending the outcome of a FIFA ethics investigation. Also, he is the subject of a criminal probe in Ghana. This is all due to the Anas’ investigative video ‘Number 12’.
Now, his former office is now a crime scene. This is according to the police.
The police released a statement over the weekend. They made the the announcement and informed the public to stay off the premises.
The statement said the move is necessary to complete investigations into the Anas exposé. Director of Public Affairs of the Police DSP Sheila Kessie Abayie-Buckman signed the statement
“…The premises and offices of the GFA have been sealed off and remain inaccessible to staff of GFA and the public until further notice.”
