Ghana Beach Festival Launched

The maiden edition of Ghana Beach Festival was successfully launched at the Laboma Beach Resort in Accra last week.

The event is under the theme “Best Escape Anyone Can Have”.

This event will however be held annually with the vision to stage a

lifestyle event with a broad appeal and raise the bar in the tourism industry.

At the launch, the Chairperson of the Ghana Beach Festival, Nana Okatakyie Anim lauded the initiative.

He further urged Ghanaians to partake in local tourism to boost the economy and generate employment.

Marketing Manager at Laboma Beach Resort, Fatimah Braimah said the programme which will commence in the first quarter of next year is poised at creating an experience that will attract holiday revellers across the globe into the country to a package of fun-filled activities which includes music, food, drinks in a serene beach setting.

Partners for the event include Ghana Tourism Authority, Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture; Fix Consult, TmGTV, CBaze TV, Risdan Tech, Ghana Association of Tourism Students, Synmation Studios and Bus stop.
