“We thank God for giving us a TKO victory, the support was so great and I just want to say thank you to everyone in Ghana, you have been spectacular especially for all your support and your prayers. Some key people support us in this fight like Mr Twum Barima and the Vice President, Dr Mahamadu Bawumia. It’s been great and I just want to say thank you.
At long last, we are emerging and we’re putting Ghana back on the map, the boxing world thought Ghana was finished until we emerged. At this moment, my team still got a lot of debts to clear, we were determined to put Ghana boxing on the map.
My father borrowing some monies and putting on the shows and promoting my bouts. He is a man of his words and when he starts something, he makes he backs it with action, so I know we are going to make things happen.
The success of every athlete lies in sponsorship and everybody knows the challenges that we have been through, but at long last, we’re emerging”.
