Getting Hit Songs Don’t Make You Relevant – Rapper Strongman
Sarkcess Music signed artiste, Osei Kwaku Vincent, best known in showbiz circles as Strongman
opined that being relevant in the music industry in Ghana doesn’t mean getting hit songs.
The rapper is currently promoting his embarking on a media tour to promote his new
mixtape titled “Still That Ni99a( STN)”.
He made this assertion during an interview with Sammy Flex on Zylofon 102.1fm’s Showbiz agenda on Thursday.

Strongman further made a few revelations about his latest EP and talked about his record
label as well as why he doesn’t focus so much on getting hit songs.
The Ghana Music Awards South Africa(SA) rapper of the year winner stated categorically that, Getting hit songs in Ghana does not guarantee your relevance in the Ghana music industry.
He also added that, as a rapper, his identity is always a priority and he doesn’t want to lose that aspect of it hence his reasons for releasing more rap songs instead of focusing on commercial songs.
