Former Supreme Court Justice, Vincent Cyril Richard Arthur Charles Crabbe passed away
Justice V.C.R.A.C Crabbe died early Friday in a hospital in the capital.
He was 95.
About Supreme Court Justice VCRAC Crabbe
The former justice was a distinguished personality his entire career, holding several vastly prominent roles.
He served as a Supreme Court Justice as well as the first ever Ghanaian to chair the Electoral Commission. He received several international appointments including First Parliamentary Counsel and Constitutional Advisor to the Ugandan Government, Director of the Commonwealth Secretariat Scheme for Legislative draftsmen for the West African Region, Southern African Region, the Caribbean Region and a Professor of Legislative drafting at the Cave Hill Campus, Barbados, University of West Indies.
During the drafting of Ghana’s 1979 constitution and the review of the 1992 constitution, he played a key role.
Before his death he served as a Professor of Law at Mountcrest University College in Accra.
