Focus On God Not Money – Ohemaa Mercy

Gospel musician, Ohemaa Mercy always has gems to impart.

The award-winning gospel musician has advised fellow musicians and upcoming gospel artists. Ohemaa told them to stop seeing the industry as a business venture.

She made these comments on Cosmopolitan Mix with Doreen Andoh.

According Ohemaa Mercy, everyone has a unique God-given talent they must develop. She stated,

“It’s a big problem when people want to listen to man, not God. People want to be in the business because of money; which is very wrong. It would be better if people always listen to God and be conscious about the work than focusing on money.” 

Furthermore, she revealed God as the source of inspiration. “if we allow God to be the center of everything, the blessings come automatically.”

Finally, Ohemaa Mercy urged gospel musicians to work hard and obey the voice of God other than relying on hearsays.

“There are a lot of people deviating from what they came with. They have to focus on their management. I always want to listen to God.

First, you need to be careful of association, friends. You have to choose a man of God that will be your father,” she advised.
