Recounting his conversation with Ebony, Kofi Essel who said he met Ebony at a hotel she was lodging at Pig farm, a suburb of Accra called Ebony Hotel said:
“After I had done the job for her we sat down and had a conversation, she was then writing her songs, Kupe, Maame hwe and Konkonsa Police.
So I asked her if she was a musician, and she responded in the affirmative although I said no when she asked if I had heard of her before.
She then told me that God has blessed me and when i asked her what she meant, she asked if I had dated before which I said no because I would be committing sin against my body.
Then she went on to ask my name and asked if she could be my friend which I accepted then right there and then when she proposed to me.
I thought it was a way God was using to bless me although I thought she was joking in the beginning.” He said.
