Ebony Is Smart For Using Body To Sell Her Brand – Rex Omar

Veteran musician, Rex Owusu Marfo aka Rex Omar has endorsed female Ebony. Rex Omar is in full support of her brand of revealing parts of her body in most of her performances at events and in her music videos.

Rex Omar is the Chairman of the Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO). He stated  that the fact that Ebony uncovers part of her skin doesn’t make her a bad person.

Rex Omar made these statements on Kasapa FM. Omar said he sees nothing wrong with Ebony’s style of dressing that exposes her body. This is because it rather indicates how quick-witted the artist and his management are.

Rex Omar’s Statement

“I like Ebony so much. Ebony and her management are smart. There are lot of male artistes that do videos including myself. I didn’t create the attraction between a man and a woman but everybody knows that the woman’s body attracts men. Ebony uses what she has to get what she wants. The fact that she exposes part of her body to sell her brand doesn’t make her a bad person, it’s marketing.

“She covered up in her recent video ‘Maame Hw3’ and this tells you, she is giving the public what they want and she has achieved it and at the end of the day when you all see it, you will all talk about it. When i released ‘Abiba’ it wasn’t it a hit.”

Furthermore, Rex Omar said Ebony using suggestive words in her songs makes her an extraordinary artiste.

According to him, an artiste should be eccentric to get people thinking about the brand and that is where Ebony’s genius becomes relevant.

“What is an artiste if people think about you and you don’t get them thinking then you’re not an artiste. There must be something eccentric and extraordinary about you.

“Why is everybody following Shatta Wale? Because there is something different about him. That is why Ebony is selling because there’s something different about her. You viewed her hot photos and you liked it then went to buy her music. What does she wants to achieve? She wants to sell music and have shows to perform. If she should wear kaba and slit to perform or shoot her video will you buy her music. At the end of the day, she has used her body to sell her product.

“If you want to translate her song your own way, it’s up to you and that is artistic expression. It depends on how you want to translate it.”
