Daughters of Glorious Jesus Launch 12th Album, Sell First Copy For GH60,000

Award-winning Ghanaian Gospel music group, Daughters of Glorious Jesus have launched their 12th studio album. The title for the album is Abba Father. The album launch was a strictly by invitation event.

Daughters of Glorious Jesus have been in existence for the past 29 years. They had a triumphant executive album launch with patrons present contributing to their project. The trio on the night dished -out mind-blowing performances to ginger the few who had gathered.

Prophet Cephas Kwame Kpegah Tamakloe – Founder and General Overseer of Breaking Yoke Ministries was the chairman for the event. He purchased the first copy of the album for GH60,000.

Ministers of state, Men of God, business mogul and few celebrities attended the beautiful ceremony organised to outdoor the new project.

Daughters of Glorious Jesus comprises of two sisters and a friend. Cynthia Appiadu, Edna Sarpong, and Monica Owusu Ansah make up the group. Cynthia, the youngest, writes and composes most of the songs of the group and she is the lead singer as well.

Their debut album, Anwanwa do, was released in 1990 and they have not looked back. They have won numerous awards consistently through a number of albums and hit songs. In 2003, they released Aseda recounting their trails, tribulations and their miraculous deliverance from death.

Some of their hits include Mebo wo din daa, Edin no, Asomdwoe hene, Tumi wo mu, Fata ayeyie, Ewurade, Yesu, woye m’ade nyinaa, Aseda ben, Yeyi waye, Okasa preko, Fa wasem to Awurade anim, Momma yenben Awurade, Odomfo, Onakwafo Nyame, Beberee, Ahinta Bea, Wo Ntaban.
