Ernest Opoku Wants To Kill Me – Brother Sammy
Don’t ever for once think that enmity exists only among circular music artistes. Those at the Gospel side seems to be facing same problem if not worst.
In fact, the hatred and backbiting among gospel musicians in Ghana aren’t reflective of what they preach in their music.
A gospel musician, Brother Sammy in a radio interview has alleged that his colleague gospel musician, Ernest Opoku Jnr. has a hidden agenda of killing him.
This he explained is because he [Ernest Opoku] feels uncomfortable with his presence in the music industry.
Brother Sammy made this shocking revelation in an interview on Light FM entertainment Extra last Saturday.
“Ernest Opoku’s ex-wife called me on phone and told me to be careful of him since he wouldn’t mind killing me. I have the recording and Ernest Opoku himself knows it”.
Asked why he thinks Ernest will habor such an evil plan against him, he explained that;
“Ernest Opoku used my voice to make a hit…now that i’m also out..since i’m with the original voice, he feels threatened. Ernest tried to use other rhythms such as Bisa K’dei’s Brother Brother, Daddy Lumba’s beat and even Lilwin’s ‘Ladder’ but they didn’t work for him. Now because I’m the original voice, he is hardly even heard of…now when he sings, even birds don’t listen… he and his Pastor have tried all means to put me down.”
