Awurama Badu Deserves State Burial – Son
Ceaser Ohene Karikari, son of legendary highlife musician Awurama Badu has some sentiments.
He is of the opinion that his late mother, Awurama Badu deserves a state funeral and burial.
Mr Karikari said he agrees with critics who believe that the ‘Medofo Adaade Me’ singer needs the funeral organised by the state to honour her.
He made these statements while speaking with Zionfelix on Brunch2Lunch.
According to him, Awurama has entertained Ghanaians for years. Therefore, it will be right for the country to honour her with such a prestigious ceremony.
Ceaser said he will not force the government to organise the funeral. However, he and the family would be happy if the government took the decision.
