You Have To Accept Kwabena Kwabena If You Do R. Kelly – Nacee
Nacee has stated his opinions on the hypocrisy of Ghanaians.
Gospel musician, Nacee doesn’t understand why “Bue Kwan” by Kwabena Kwabena was not embraced by Ghanaians as a gospel song.
According to him, Ghanaians have the perception that gospel songs should only be produced by gospel artistes. Therefore, secular musicians can’t do gospel music.
He made these statements on Daybrak Hitz.
The same people who rejected Kwabena Kwabena accept R. Kelly, Nacee
Furthermore, Nacee explained that R Kelly’s gospel music is accepted by a lot of churches. This is despite the several scandals Kelly has been involved in. However, his songs are sung in Ghanaian churches without anyone questioning his status as a secular musician.
“the same people who rejected Kwabena Kwabena’s gospel song accept R Kelly in our churches.”
“R Kelly has done many awkward things that Kwabena Kwabena hasn’t yet he sang the ‘Storm is Over, ‘You Saved Me’, songs that were remixed by T D Jakes”
Nacee seemed genuinely perplexed over the two-faced nature of the whole situation. Moreover, he questioned, “is it because it’s coming from outside so we have to accept it?
