Academic Genius! 13-year-old Admitted At Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology
Ruth Ama Gyan-Darkwa has become the youngest person to gain admission to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Technology (KNUST). She is a 13-year old girl who was a student of Space Workers College. The girl lives at Prempeh College, Kumasi with her father who is a senior tutor there.
Ruth Ama Gyan-Darkwa is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kwadwo Gyan-Darkwa. Her father is currently a senior tutor at Prempeh College. Prior to her admission into KNUST, Ruth Ama Gyan-Darkwa is said to have attended the Christ Our Hope International school.
She later went on attend junior high at Abraham Lincoln International School, where she ended up taking (and passing) the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) held at the Justice International School Asuafua, in the Ashanti Region.
Ruth’s father, Mr. Kwadwo Gyan-Darkwa, said that his daughter received admission into St. Louis Senior High at the tender age of 10, having been offered General Science. He said she went on to complete her senior high school studies at the age of 12. It’s reported that 13 year old Ruth will be pursuing a bachelor of science in mathematics.
It’s been reported that she is not the only member of her family to achieve such extraordinary feats. Her sisters are also academic geniuses.
