Pay Me For Using My ‘Bobolebobo’ Song For Your Campaign – Evangelist Tells NDC
One most trending songs currently in Ghana is ‘Wobete Bobolebobo’ by Evangelist I.K. Aning.
The song has won the hearts of most music fans across the country.
However, it seems its not only the ordinary masses who love the song but some political parties also do.
One of such parties is the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The NDC launched different versions of the song at their just-ended 9th National
Delegates Congress held at the International Trade Fair Centre in Accra.
The ‘Wobete Bobolebobo’ crooner is therefore demanding compensation from the party for remixing the song for its campaign purposes.
The Evangelist made this known on the Kumasi Morning Show on Kumasi 104.1FM on Tuesday, 20 November 2018,
According to him, the party did not consult him before using his song in that manner.
He is therefore insisting that the party compensates him for the illegal use of his intellectual property.

Evangelist Aning told show host, Akwesi Agudey that he does not want to proceed to court
for the matter to be addressed, and for that reason, his managers are at the negotiation
table with the NDC to ensure that he is duly compensated.
The gospel artiste said he went for a loan to promote the song after the producers failed
to help him in that regard.
