 Lexis Bills Starts Amazing Support For Graduate Rice Seller(PHOTOS)

Celebrated On-Air Personality, Lexis Bills has started an amazing support geared towards motivating a young graduate.

The graduate, Abigail Darko, together with her partner, has set their sights on starting an ‘anguamo’ business (rice cooked with some oil) rather than wait for a white colour job.

Abigail sometime ago tweet about venturing into the ‘anguamo’ business after her serving her country on the National Service Scheme.

“NSS is over. Unemployment for what? I will sell anguamo saa,” reads her tweet.

Her tweet sometime ago caught the attention of the presenter who instantly pledged to support her grow her business.

“I want us to do something for this lady @some_girl_bi. I think she deserves to be encouraged,” Lexis tweeted.

After an interview on Ghana’s most listened Drive Time show, the host made a simple call to listeners for support. That call opened the floodgates of blessings.

Enjoying the rollercoaster ride which has seen several companies coming on board with Lexis Bill to grow her business, Ms Darko disclosed on Drive Time on Joy FM that, business is “booming…it’s so good.”

“People are ordering the food, she said, heaving a sigh of relief. “Some companies come for packs” while others also order for their birthday parties”, she said excitedly.

However, a growing business demands more hands, therefore, Ms Darko has employed three people.

For the young entrepreneur, she “is excited” about the glorious support Lexis Bill gave her. “I see it as an opportunity for me so I have to make the best out of it,” she added.

Lexis Bill triggered the support system on Friday, August 10 on his show and on Tuesday, August 15, Abigail Darko came visiting and bearing samples of her neatly packaged ‘anguamo’ to show her gratitude.

So far, Ms Darko has received support from several companies and individuals including, Royal Feast Rice (bags of rice), Meannan Foods (crates of eggs), Millennium Insurance (insurance cover), Breakthrough Express and Drop Deliveries (free delivery), and Daniel Edmund Ayitevie (photography).

Nene Dugbartey (aprons and cooking gear), Smic360 Limited (logo), Chief Moomen (who ordered 100 packs), Furguson and Associates (legal and accounting services), and Ava Virgin Coconut Oil (coconut oil) also pledged their support.
