Miss Ghana 2017, Margaret Dery, Talks About Her Challenges As Miss Ghana

Miss Ghana queen, Margaret Dery (the 2017 winner) speaks up about the pageant. Furthermore, she took to Twitter to talk about her frustrations. Moreover, she stated that the pageant is a scam.

Also, she said it is her worse experience.

“Being a miss Ghana queen has honestly been one of the worse experiences of my life, yeah,I know it looks good on the outside, but it’s just one big sham on the inside. All that glitters is not gold. Ladies, you don’t need a crown on your head to succeed.”

“Any and all projects were funded by people I approached who decided to help out of the goodness of their hearts, no sponsorships, no nothing..even the car is not in your name and you’re given only one key,just In case they wanna take it back.”

Furthermore, Margret’s tweets connect to the various horrible experiences that previous winners shared. Moreover, these experiences ranged from exploitation, verbal, physical abuse, and charity funds embezzlement.
