Shatta Wale Apologizes To The Media For Invoking God’s Wrath On Them
Controversial dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has for the first time rendered an apology for a wrong doing.
Shatta Wale, did not spare media practitioners in his emotionally packed tribute at the one-week celebration of the late singer.
He gave an emotional speech in which he invoked God’s wrath against all those who criticized the late dancehall artiste Ebony when she was alive.
Born Charles Nii Amarh Mensah Jr, Wale accused the media of blatantly badmouthing the artiste on their various platforms.
However, speaking with Prince Tsegah on Showbiz Fylla on Hitz FM However, Wale retracted his speech, saying he was in an emotional state at the time.
Wale’s apology;
That notwithstanding, he apologized saying, “…because of people like you [Prince Tsegah] I will apologize. I will also apologize to some of them who felt hurt by what I said…”
Shatta Wale however called on the media to criticize constructively to avoid hurting of the feelings of other people.
He cited Ebony’s case as an example stating that critics lashed out on her on a daily basis just because of a brand she chose for herself.
“…Some people always bashed Ebony and even made fun out of it. You can criticize but don’t make fun out of it. Don’t criticize us too much…,” Wale noted.
