I Made Sure Asamoah Gyan Showed Up – Maame Dokono

Maame Dokono is sharing stories about certain celebrities in Ghana.

Ghanaian veteran actress, Grace Omaboe affectionately called Maame Dokono has disclosed that she groomed several Ghanaian celebrities. These celebrities include Shatta Wale, Black Stars Captain Asamoah Gyan and his brother Baffour Gyan.

She made these statement on Mikki Osei-Berko’s After Hours Show’ .

According to Maame Dokono, she nurtured all the above-mentioned stars through her show. The show was ‘By The Fire Side.’

“Shatta Wale was a gong-gong beater in By the Fireside. He’s one of the numerous persons I have helped.”

Furthermore, she added that she always ensured Asamoah and Baffour Gyan would always show up. Moreover, the show was sponsored by the 31st December Women’s Movement.

Grace Omaboe is one of Ghana’s veteran actresses. She has starred in numerous Ghanaian movies. Her experience in acting is quiet enviable because of the top roles she has played in movies over the years.
