I’m A Big Fan Of Manifest, Sarkodie – Sonnie Badu
UK – based Ghanaian born gospel star, Minister Sonnie Badu has revealed that when it comes to secular music, he’s a big fan of Ghana’s two rappers, Sarkodie and M.anifest.
According to the revered singe listed Ghanaian musicians pushing the Ghanaian Music Industry to the International Market.
In an interview with SVTV AFRICA, Sonnie Badu further listed Kumi Eugene, Kidie, King Promise as promising young musicians.
He was answering a question on how he sees the Ghana Music industry.

“They have opt unto what can take them global, and that is love songs, and it is
getting them the attention they need even in Nigeria. Their songs are even becoming
big all over the world.. and this means that Ghana music is getting global,” he said.
He also added that he loves Stonebowy, who is almost like his junior brother and literally speaks with him almost everyday, advising him.
The ”Okokroko” singer also praised these artistes for choosing to do songs which are devoid of any vulgarities.
“These boys are doing it, they’re singing love songs, no insults, no swear words,
no vulgar language, they’re just singing love songs. For that I recommend them”, he added.
The Gospel icon furthered that some Gospel Musicians like Ohemaa Mercy, Joe Mettle and Cwesi Oteng are also pushing Ghanaian Music.
“I feel that in the next year or two Ghanaian Music would have a massive international platform and make massive impacts.” the ‘Baba’ hitmaker noted.
