Willi Roy, manager of the Zylofon Arts Club has cautioned Ghanaians to be be patriotic towards media giant, Zylofon.
According to the outspoken music producer, Ghana may lose Zylofon Media to Nigerians if care is not taken.
“Nigerians are fond of fully taking great opportunities and if care is not taken they will take over Zylofon Media”, he said.
Roi’s statement is as a result of the ongoing preparations by Nana Appiah Mensah, CEO of
Zylofon Media to launch another arm of the outfit in Nigeria come Saturday.

He further mentioned that, just as Ghanaians lost “Azonto” music to Nigerians because we did
not appreciate its value, we may lose Zylofon.
Willi opined that, the Nigerian market is overpopulated in the area of entertainment. This, he is certain poses a threat to Ghanaians, should Zylofon be launched there.
Zylofon Media, after less than two years of existence in Ghana has expanded it’s wings to other countries.
The outlet has also introduced several schemes for Ghana’s entertainment industry. All these are in order to better the state of the industry.
Though Zylofon is in to help, Roi assumes that many Ghanaians have not accepted the initiative, which he deems worrying.
