Photos: Nana Akua Addo Leaves No Stone Unturned, Slays In Breathtaking Black Outfit
It is definitely for this reason that she has been accorded the accolade ‘Ghana’s Slay Queen’
It’s been four months now since we last saw her as usual slay in her painstakingly-made outfits.
If you ever for once thought that she’s probably run out of resources to keep slaying or yet still that she has quit what she does best, then there’s bad news for you.
However, if you’re a fan of hers and has been waiting for her first ‘big slay’ of the year, then hold your breath Because she’s back.
Nana Akua Addo, of course needs no introduction when it comes to fashion. However let’s just quickly do a flashback to 2017.
Remember the lady who made headlines with her red gown and a 24 Karat gold mask at the AFRIMMA awards?.
How about the one who wore a mirror dress which took two years to sew to the Abryanz Style and Fashion awards?.
Well, all that was just one person, Nana Akua Addo, aka ‘Gh Ish girl’ .
Nana Akua Addo is an actress, fashion mogul and mother who has won multiple awards including several nominations not only from her movies but from her flawless sense of fashion as well.
She was missing at the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. Her great fashion sense and the stare she causes whenever she steps on the red carpet were greatly missed.
But the good news is, we get to see her first slay on the red carpet in 2018 and that was at the Ghana Women of the year awards.
The 3rd edition of the Ghana Women Awards took place over the weekend. The event, which came off at the Labadi Beach hotel had the fashion icon make her usual mind-blowing dress.
She of course left many giving her a hundred over ten for her stunning black outfit.
Nana Akua Addo went with the theme of the event which was centered on celebrating women of excellence.
She came in dressed like the African queen she is with excellence.
She appeared in an elegantly made black gown by the internationally renowned designer from the Philippines, Leo Amodal.
Her ‘Wakanda’ dress we believe cost her a lot but of course, the Gh Ish girl never settles for less. That’s why she’s the Slay Queen.
The dress was elaborate on shoulder black gown with some sparkling details across it. The body-hugging costume also had a flawless base with its relatively long train.
As if that wasn’t enough, she complimented her look with an African headgear referred to as ‘Gele’. She had a subtle makeup with less accessory on. All these mixed with an artwork around her wrist usually done on Muslims brides and referred to as ‘Lele’ also cranked her look up a notch.
We couldn’t get shots of the style gem on the red carpet though. However, we were fortunate to have some top-notch photos of her via her Instagram page. These however clearly looks like pre-appearance photo-shoot.
Enough of the long talks now, we proudly present to you photos of the slay queen’s first slay in 2018 below;
