“My Appointment Is Not Political” – Rev Owusu Bempah Breaks Silence
Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah has debunked claims that his appointment is a political one.
The Prophet was recently appointment by the ruling NPP government to serve in the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection.
However, Rev Owusu Bempah is known to always be on the side of NPP. Many even claim that he is the president’s ‘spiritual father’.
As a result, was highly criticized by some Ghanaians as to whether he’s a Politician or Pastor.
But the Prophet, who is speaking for the first time since his appointment says it’s contrary to speculations.
According to him, his appointment into the ministry has nothing to do with Politics.
He spoke on Wednesday on Adom FM’s Burning Issues program, hosted by Afia Pokua.
“My appointment is not a political position or a thank-you appointment but rather an offer of assistance by the ministry to serve Ghanaians.
“I have received a letter from the Gender Ministry requesting my assistance to support the ministry in my capacity as a man of God.” Reverend Owusu Bempah told Afia Pokua.
Rev Owusu Bempah is the founder and General Overseer of Glorious Word Power Ministry International.
He however indicated that he has accepted the offer to serve on the Board.
