Actress and TV host, Efia Odo makes major moves in her career. Moreover, Odo joins the “Okay FM” family as the new host of a new show. The show is “U AND Me” and airs every Friday at 5pm.

The excited Actress took to Instagram to share the news with her fans. She wrote:

BBC News released the documentary video on talented Ghanaian actress Maame Serwaa

Moreover, the BBC filmed the video somewhere in April 2018. The documentary was basically to throw some light on the Kumasi movie industry which is popularly known as Kumawood. Also, shed light on the young actress, Maame Serwaa.

In the documentary, Maame Serwaa talks about how she started her journey in the movie industry. Moreover, according to the young actress, her mother was the one who initiated the whole thing.

She revealed that her mum took her to a movie scene as at the age of 6. Also, she became a stand in for a young actress who did not show up for her role that day. She added that the rest of the story is what is seen of her today as one of the actresses in the country.

DJ and radio personality, Andy Dosty talks about the new crop of musicians. Moreover, he stated that the new crop of musicians are holding the fort down for the music industry.

He spoke about this in an interview on the Drive talk on Atinka 104.7 FM by DJ Candyman.

Furthermore, the host asked Dosty his take on the new crop of artistes. Therefore, he stated emphatically that the new crop of artistes including Kuame Eugene, Kidi, King Promise, Adina, and the likes are the saviours of our music industry.

He stated that the aforementioned artistes shot to the limelight and took over the waves. They did this during an era when the Ghana music industry was down the drain. This was due to the infiltration of songs by Nigerian artistes.

“You would recall that we got to a point in time in the country where only Nigerian songs were making waves, DJs all over the country were keen as mustard to air Nigerian songs until the new crop of artistes came ” 

Moreover, Dosty dissociated himself from the group of DJs and media personalities who hitherto played Nigerian songs solely. He added that he is however happy that the status quo finally changed because songs from the young sensational artistes

“But as it stands, everywhere you go, your hear people play songs of these new artistes which I think is very encouraging and great”

Media General’s TV3 has today, January 18, 2019, launched its tenth edition of the kids talent hunt show, Talented Kidz. The launch happened at the station’s premises in Accra.

Moreover, the decade (10th anniversary) edition of the show promises to produce yet another talented bunch of child stars for the country. These children will trill patrons and fans through the season-long show.

The audition for this year’s Talented Kidz kick-starts in Takoradi at the premises of Connect FM from Friday, February 1-2, 2019.

The train then moves to the Garden City of Ghana, Kumasi. The Kumasi audition comes off on February 8-9, 2019, at TV3’s Asokwa premises opposite the Kumasi City Mall. The auditions climaxes in Accra on February 15-16 at TV3’s Adesa We premises.

Moreover, she revealed that many pastors who say they are in the service of God have the strong desire and passion for drinking alcohol. However, they do this without thinking about the fact that it is against their beliefs as Christians.

She saw many of these pastors drink alcohol anyhow. Moreover, she added that recently she was on board an airplane with a man of God who ordered for alcohol and drank it in the full view of all the people in the plane.

Therefore, Ohemaa Mercy charged Christians to be very careful when choosing the place of worship. According to her, many pastors in this country are not using the spirit of the Almighty God to work. Therefore, if you are in such a church, you may end up coming out more miserable than you went to them.

She cited the example of a popular gospel musician. This musician is currently no more because the person went to the church of one of these pastors.

Hiplife and Afro-pop Ghanaian artiste, Okyeame Kwame talks about Menzgold. Moreover, he stated that he was a mere brand Ambassador for discredited gold trading hub Menzgold. Also, he denied claims he invested in it.

He made these statements during an interview on Luv FM Drive Time with host DJ Reuben.

Furthermore, last week there were reports that he invested GH¢150,000 into Menzgold as an ambassador. Therefore, his money was there too.

However, he stated that it was untrue.

Furthermore, Little stated that the disgruntled clients should consider losing their money in a gambling game. Therefore, their focus must be on working hard again to genuinely make that lost money.

Also, he told government that arresting NAM1 won’t yield any result so the Government. Rather, liquidate Nana Appiah’s properties to possibly settle the clients and ensure strong financial security in the country.

“Little things used to upset me and I couldn’t live with anyone else apart from myself, but today, I am comfortable with anyone around me. Things that used to upset me no longer do”

“I am now able to control myself and forget about little things that made me get mad before. I have been able to tolerate my husband no matter the highest provocation”

She already revealed in the interview that she wants 10 children.

“Although I have two kids, my plan is to make it 10 because my husband Akwasi Boateng and I love children. I want to surround myself with my children when I am old,”
