Patapaa Goes Hard On Critics Who Claim He Stole One Leg’ Song(VIDEO)

Hiplife artiste Patapaa has gone bonkers over rumor circulating that he stole the song “One Leg”.

Pissed Patapaa has however denied the claim and has vowed to deal with those spreading the false rumors.

“Funny ; I hear some guys claiming the ownership for my much-awaited banger which is trending everywhere now, @sammybaahflex @andydostygh@zionfelixdotcom , kindly help me talk some sense into their ears because we started talking about dropping #One_Leg since the beginning of the year on most media platforms.

“So if it’s about stealing, then they are the thieves… Don’t claim to be the saint here cos you are not,” he stated in a post on his Instagram page.

Patapaa dropped his latest song ‘One Leg’ a few days ago which features Article Wan.

Production credit however goes to King Odyssey, mixed and mastered by Dr Ray Beat.

Allow Bloggers To Publish Fake Stories – Kwesi Arthur

Many celebrities have over picked a bone of contention with reporter, especially, the ones who write for entertainment blogs.

Ghanaian celebrities like Shatta Wale, Abeiku Aggrey Santana, Kojo Nkansah Lilwin

and a few others have always condemned these bloggers accusing them of being lazy

writers who always publish fake stories with some even arresting these type of bloggers.

But it seems ‘Ground-up Chale’ Music signee, Kwesi Arthur has a different opinion when

it comes to bloggers publishing false stories about him or any other celeb for that matter.

The rapper in an interview on the popular ‘Celebrity Ride with Zionfelix Show’ stated that

he does not have any problem with bloggers publishing fake stories about him.

The ‘Grind Day’ hitmaker told Zionfelix that he believes it is all part of the show business. He added that many of the bloggers have what they put up on their blogs as a means of survival because that is how they eat.

The Fan Milk Company ambassador further made the point that if you post a story about him which is false, he has no business chasing you to either retract it or suing you because he is sure in his mind that it is untrue.

When Kwesi Arthur was further asked if he has plans to ever sue a blogger for publishing a false story about him, the Tema based rapper reiterated that he is not sure it will ever happen. He, however, didn’t shut the doors to the possibility of it happening someday.

I Can’t Sign Any Of The Artistes Who Featured On My ‘Biibiba’ Track – Sarkodie

Multiple awards-winning rapper Sarkodie recently released his much his much-publicized

“Biibi Ba” song.

As was expected, Sark didn’t fail but scored all the marks on the song as it was lit.

Featuring the song however were some up-and-coming artistes who as well did marvelously well with their punch-lines on the song.

Sark’s “Biibi Ba” features Toy Boi x Tulenkey x Kofi Mole x CJ Biggerman x Amerado x Yeyo x 2fingers x Lyrical Joe x OBKAY and Frequency.

Their delivery has however left many music lovers asking whether Sarkodie is going to sign

any of these talented lyricists onto his Sarkcess Music label like  he did with Strongman and Akwaboah.

In an interview today with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, Sarkodie however revealed that he

can’t sign any of them unto his record label.

According to Sark, he’s reluctant to sign and shape the career of these rising artists but is ever ready to help them in any way possible.

“Signing any of the artists I featured on Biibi Ba will be hard for me now. However, I will be there for them if they need verses on their tracks,” Sarkodie said in the interview.

Sarkodie Talks About Relationship Shatta Wale

Award winning rapper, Sarkodie talks about relationship with fellow colleague, Shatta Wale.

Moreover, in October, Sark set social media ablaze after he released a diss song directed at Shatta Wale.

The ‘Adonai’ hitmaker released the diss song due to the numerous attacks by Shatta Wale on him.

In an interview, Sark disclosed that Shatta Wale made disrespectful comments about him on social media instead of calling him to address the issue.

“If he is a friend that you keep in touch with all the time and he keeps passing comments on social media all in the name of showbiz, how would you feel?”

I get it. It’s showbiz but we have a friendship to keep. As much as I would want to do showbiz, there are some things that I would like to call you personally and resolve”

Nana Aba Anamoah Announced As Host For Rapperholic 2018

One of the biggest concert coming up in Ghana this festivity is the Rapperholic Concert comingoff on December 25.

Aside from the artistes to perform at the event, many have been looking forward to the one to host the show.

The Sarkcess Music boss has however put his fans to rest as he has announced the one to host the show this year.

Sarkodie through a Tweet on Thursday, December 20 announced ace news presenter, Nana Aba Anamoah as host for the show.

Nana Aba is known as one of the biggest fans of the ‘Adonai’ rapper.

This however, wouldn’t be her first time hosting the show.

This year’s Rapperholic concert promises to be one of the greatest as Sarkodie has disclosed to produce a spectacular thrilled performances ever for his fans and music lovers.

You can get a ticket to this year’s Rapperholic Concert at the Accra Mall, Frankies, Maachi Desserts and Tema Community 11 Shell fillilng station.

This year’s concert will feature great artists such as Sarkodie himself, Strongman Burner, Akwaaboah, Kofi Kinaata, and other undisclosed artists.

Tickets for the concert are selling at Ghc100 for Regular, Ghc200 for VIP and Ghc300 for VVIP seats.

Last year’s edition was hosted by Shatta Wale who was supported by Jay Foley.

But considering the current ‘beef’ between them, it doesn’t come as a surprise that Shatta is off the list.

Ghanaians Sentenced For £1 Million Fraud In The UK

On 13 December 2018, Southwark Crown Court sentenced three Ghanaian men. Moreover, this was for their part in a series of frauds.

The fraudsters created make-believe companies. They did this to apply for credit from well-known businesses, including American Express and Barclaycard.

Luxury items purchased included over £126,000 worth of mobile phones and tablet devices. Also, Cartier and Rolex watches and items from Burberry.

The City of London Police’s Fraud Squad investigated the case following an initial report made to them by American Express.

The remaining three, who have been found guilty, will be sentenced in the New Year.

Fuse ODG Releases New Video With Kuami Eugene & KiDi

UK-based Ghanaian artiste, Fuse ODG releases a new video. The video is of a song titled ‘New African Girl’. Moreover, it features Lynx Entertainment signees Kuami Eugene and Kidi.

The video is a celebration of the African women. These are all parts of Fuse’s celebration of a New Africa. Also, he recently launched his TINA fest slated for January. It promises to be an exciting one for music lovers all over the country in a new year.

This video features beautiful dark skin women from across Africa and pushes a Self Love agenda.

David Nicolsey directed the video. The scenery for the video is breathtaking. Also, the costumes used for the video depicts Ghanaian culture in an authentic way.

Stonebwoy Honored By UPSA Alumni

The Alumni of University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) honoured Ghanaian Dancehall and Reggae act, Stonebwoy. Moreover, the honor was for his numerous contribution to tourism, arts and entertainment.The ceremony was part of a handing over ceremony of new executives of the alumni.

Also, former Deputy Finance Minister, Cassiel Ato Forson called on the alumni not to forget their alma mater

Reggae and dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy spoke at the ceremony. He asked for certain systems. Moreover, this was for personalities like himself the opportunity to return to the lecture halls to further their education.

According to him, it is the desire of many of his colleagues in the music industry to come back and impact positively in the development of the country and not only through music.

Foreign affairs minister Shirley Ayorkor Botchway Attempts Punching Sam George, Okudzeto Ablakwa

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Shirley Ayorkor Botchway clashed with other members of parliament. Moreover, the argument was between the ranking member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of Parliament, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa. This was over a purported property which the ministry wanted as a chancellery for Ghana’s mission in Norway.

There was an altercation in the foyer of Parliament. This was between the Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram, Sam George, Okudzeto Ablakwa, Member of Parliament for North Tongu and the Foreign Affairs Minister, Shirley Ayorkor Botchway, also MP for Anyaa Sowutuom.

The video is popular on social media. In the video, the three Members of Parliament argue. However, the security detail of the Minister holds her back averting a possible physical challenge.

I Didn’t Collapse Capital Bank — Pastor Mensah Otabil

The General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), Pastor Mensa Otabil talks about Capital Bank. Moreover, he denies claims that he acted in a manner that led to the collapse of Capital Bank. He did this in his defense filed at the Commercial Division of the Accra High Court. Furthermore, refuted assertions by the receivers of the bank that he connived with other directors and shareholders of the bank. Their intent to mismanage funds at the bank.

His lawyer, Mr. Yonny Kulendi signed his defense statement. This was a response to a suit filed by the receivers.

“The defendant (Otabil) was appointed Chairman of the board in 2009 and in all of his tenure as a Director and Chairman of the Board, he did not apply for, neither was he offered, nor did he receive any loan, overdraft or any credit facility from the plaintiff (defunct Capital Bank).

“The board, under his chairmanship, acted diligently, faithfully and in the best interest of the plaintiff and, therefore, he did not, as Director, use or allow to be used by any director or shareholder related entities to siphon funds belonging to the plaintiff,’’ 

I ‘Contaminated’ Myself With Friends – Amy Newman

Celebrated gospel musician Amy Amber Newman has been absent from the music circus for a while now.

The musician is however back and has revealed one of the reasons for her long absence.

According to her, her absence from the music scene for about 14 years was due to the sort of

friends she was keeping, which God didn’t like.

She said during the period, she tried on different occasions to record songs but it didn’t work,

referring to it as her “time in the wilderness,” adding that the friends she kept contaminated her.

Revealing her ordeal to Giovanni Caleb on the Starr Drive Monday, the “Oye Adom” singer said;

“…and it’s not that I didn’t want to come out, I wanted to, but it’s like anytime I try to come out with a song it doesn’t work. I don’t know what was preventing me, I don’t know what was fighting it. I will go to the studio, I will pay money and then I don’t know what happens. The song doesn’t work anymore,” she said.

She further added that;

“And I realized that sometimes as a child of God, you can contaminate yourself with something that God doesn’t want you to involve yourself, it can be friends, for mine it was friends.

The company that I was in, God didn’t like it, meaning that I was contaminating myself because anytime He tries to get my attention, I’m with friends. And the conversations that we have might not be pleasing to God. I may not even say what they are saying, but once I’m in their midst, I have contaminated my spirit.”

The singer added;

“…in my 9th year with those friends, and then I realized that, no, I have sinned against God and then I separated myself from every so called friend. And these people, they are all church goers, they are all Christians. And you think that they are Christians and if you are in their midst there’s nothing wrong, but God didn’t want me to be around them.”

Meanwhile, 58-year-old singer who has re-branded and is promoting her recently

released song and video titled “Siesie Me”.

She also explained the concept behind the song as;

“Siesie me is the name God gave me in the time of my wilderness. In that wilderness journey, that’s when this Siesie Me song came”.

Kumawood Plotted My ‘Downfall’ – Agya Koo

Kumawood actor Agya Koo has blamed players in the industry for his current downfall.

Agya Koo has revealed that players in the movie Industry deliberately conspired and plotted

his downfall after he refused to go naked in a movie in which he depicted the legendary Komfo Anokye.

According to him, he stormed out of the movie set upon the insistence of the director that he

goes naked in a river – something Agya Koo said he vehemently argued and stood against.

After that incident, Agya Koo said all movie producers and directors in Kumawood ganged up against him and boycotted all films in which he starred or had anything to do with.

DJ Switch Surprised With A Mega Birthday Celebration

Ghana’s youngest DJ, DJ Switch recently celebrated her birthday. Therefore, as part of the celebrations, her family surprised her with a very special birthday party. In attendance at the party were some top celebrities, family, and friends.

DJ Switch turned 11 on December 12. However, there was shock on her face when she saw all the people who got together to celebrate with her on the special day. The party took place at a very plush hotel in Accra. In attendance were musician Paulina Odoro, actress Gloria Sarfo, Nana Yaa Brefo of Adom TV, and many other great personalities.

Moreover, most of these individuals who attended the party shared a few words of encouragement and advice to the talented kid DJ. The rest of the night was spent eating, drinking, and dancing.

I Don’t Charge GH40,000 For A Show – Kwesi Arthur

Ghanaian rapper, Kwesi Arthur clears the air over his performance fees. According to social media, Arthur charges upqards of over GHS 40,000 for a perforamce. ,

However, he clarified that the amount he charges for every show varies. Moreover, he added that for him to charge 40k or over for any particular show, then the particular show may be a huge one.

Also, he revealed that his rates for shows he performs at are not even determined by him. His management usually decides the amount they take for a show. Therefore, it is not even possible to talk to him (Kwesi Arthur) if you need him a show, since you would have to go through his management.

Arrest Me Anytime I Break The Law – Sarkodie To Ghana Police

Sarkcess Music boss, Micheal Owusu Addo, popularly known as Sarkodie has asked

the police to arrest him if he breaks the law of the country.

According to him, he is ever ready to surrender to the laws whenever he breaks any.

Speaking in an interview on Hitz Fm, he narrated a situation of such kind when a police

officer once busted him for breaking a traffic rule.

According to the ‘Highest’ album maker, he was once travelling with his wife, Tracy Sarkcess

with his daughter, Titi, and their last hour preparation for the trip got them so late for their flight.

He recounted that due to their lateness they experienced heavy traffic on the Spintex Road and in an attempt to beat it to quickly catch up with their check-in time, he veered off the main road to use an unauthorized lane and before he realized a Police Officer chased him with a motorbike ordering him to stop.

The rapper said he parked and fans came around begging the officer to spare him but the officer hesitated.

During his conversation, Sarkodie added that he was quite happy the officer acted so because he was ready to surrender to the law so that it serves as a deterrence to others.

For this purpose, the Sarkcess Boss told the host that Ghanaian Police officers should always feel free to arrest him whenever he breaks the law.

Repeating Outfit Is None Of Your Business – Kwesi Arthur Tells Critics

The showbiz industry is one that comes usually with a lavish lifestyle. Many expect to see entertainers living lavishly notwithstanding how they started

The Ground Up artiste has therefore addressed the issue on the latest episode of ‘Celebrity Ride

with Zionfelix Show.

The ‘Woara’ hitmaker told Zionfelix that people should understand that he bought the clothes

with his own money and as such he can decide to wear it every time he wants to.

Kwesi Arthur also stated on the show that dressing the way he does is what he loves since

it is comfortable and less financially cumbersome.

He adds that many of the younger ones out there look up to him and as such he cannot

wear expensive clothes which many of them cannot afford.

When Zionfelix asked him why he always decides to remove his attire during his performances even though, he is aware that the youth who admire him, will pick it up, the Fan Milk Company brands ambassador stated that it helps with his performance. The energy that I feel when I take off my attire during my performance is special and as such, I will never stop, he added.

Many thought it unnecessary for Sark to release such a track at Shatta Wale, considering the

fact that they were best friends even though Shatta first launched an attack on him on social media.

Some on the other hand applauded Sarkodie for silencing Shatta Wale after the release of the track.

Sakodie has however come out to explain the circumstances that led to him releasing such a song in a recent interview with KOD.

Ded Buddy Hooks Up With KiDi For ‘Yebesa’ Remix
