Hiplife musician, Skrew Faze announces his new deal. According to him, he signed a mega recording deal with a UK-based record label called Black Kulcha Music. He made this known through a Facebook post.

Moreover, some time ago he was a very popular name on the Ghanaian music scene. He further revealed that his new brand focuses on producing a lot more fresh tunes and bangers for all the people who love his music. The rebranded Skrew Faze also announced in the message he shared that he will release a new song titled ‘Move Away’ on December 1.

“I am ecstatic to announce that I have signed a Recording Deal with UK-based Record Label, Black Kulcha Music!!! This is a new chapter in my music career and I am very excited about it!

This is the new ME, New Brand, New Focus & New direction!!! We are bringing you some amazing fresh music! More fire?????

Nigerian musician, Mr Eazi has a new scheme out. The ‘Lagos To London’ artist launched a new product christened “Empawa 100”. Moreover, the scheme seeks to support up and coming artistes in African countries doing great with their God-given talent.

He spoke about it the press launch. He further affirmed to the media in his speech that he was enthused to unveil this ’empawa 100′. This was due to how Kwesi Arthur chalked his success in the music industry.

Also, he recalled how he blessed the ‘Grind Day’ hitmaker with a music video. Moreover, this is something he does for many artistes.

“today happens to be a great day. This is because Kwesi Arthur motivated me to unveil this mouthwatering package for up and coming artistes in 7 African countries with $3000 to each artistes out of $300,000 budget allocated”.

So far, #empawa100 is in 7 African countries namely; Nigeria, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Kenya, among other continents.

Ghanaian musician, Nana Yaa talks about the music industry. According to her, Ghana’s music industry is stagnant. This is because the country’s artistes don’t support one another

Moreover, she indicated that Ghanaian musicians support when you’re in their clique. She further describes the situation as unfavourable.

Nana Yaa made these statementse in an interview with NEWS-ONE. Also, she called on Ghanaians to support their own in order to foster the growth of the industry.

“It is really important as Ghanaians to support each other because I have seen that we don’t really support each other. I mean I can use myself as an example, I don’t know if I am allowed to say this but it’s like who you know. It’s like a clique, if you are not in that click then you are not going to be supported. But it shouldn’t be like that because our neighbouring countries like Nigeria, for example, they reach out to each other. I am sure we will get there. It’s a good cause; we support each other”

“We can’t grow as a music industry if we don’t support each other the way we are supposed to. I mean it’s a game and competition but at the end of the day we all want one thing; the betterment of music in Ghana. So we have to support each other. When it gets to the time when we have to play the game we play it and still show love to one another” 

Also, she revealed that her colleagues in the music business don’t support her

“So many of the artistes know me and they know I have been in the industry for a while now and if they see me in town they are always like hey Nana I heard this your new jam. However, they won’t post about it on social media. They won’t support it” 

Adom FM’s entertainment host, Mike 2 talks about gospel musicians. He stated that Ghanaian gospel musicians are to blame for non payment of shows. This is when they play for event organizers and men of God in the various chapels.

Moreover, Mike stressed that the musicians sold themselves cheaply from day one. This is because they tell people that they are into the gospel industry to win souls for Christ.

Therefore, this assertion by many of these musicians makes them seen as “Father Christmas” who will do things for free.

“The gospel musicians have been cheating themselves, and pastors always say God bless you after their performances. They have made themselves low, they go for interviews and when asked whether they mean profit making, these musicians will cheaply say big no. However, they win souls for Christ through music”

Recently, Minister Francis Amo was upset about how some church leaders treat gospel musicians. He indicated how difficult and expensive it is to keep a brand relevant.

He further stated that it was time they took a careful look at the business aspect of the music job

“Because people are not buying the CDs, shows have been paying but these people will tell you they don’t charge but will accept whatever reasonable money because they are singing to win souls for Christ but not to make business for profit. Forgetting about the business aspect of it and the cost incurred to produce the album, are they serious at all?”

Kumawood actress, Safina Haroun talks about the movie industry. She disclosed that she is not against any future production roles that would require her to take it all off and go all out in adult film.

Ghanaian controversial personality, Afia Schwarzenegger replies Benedicta Gafah. This comes after Gafah expressed her disappointment in the comedienne for her inability to have called her when she got hold of photo she posted on her account.

Moreoever, Schwarzenegger shared a picture of Benedicta Gafah with bruises on her face on her Whatsapp status.

However, Benedicta explained the real story behind the bruises. She explained that her ex-lover brutally abused her. This is because she wanted out of the relationship.

Also, she added that Afia disappointed her for spreading false information without background checks. However, Afia Schwar states that she’s a gossip diva and will never drive away anyone who brings her “filla’.

Actress, Benedicta Gafah speaks up about her experiences. According to her, she suffered domestic abuse four years. This was because her ex-lover brutally beat and sacked her from their house.

Moreover, she decided to tell her side of the story after TV and radio presenter Afia Schwarzenegger put up a graphic picture of her on Instagram

Therefore, Gafah explained the cause of the bruises on her face. She further revealed that the man did not want to accept the fact that she wanted out of their relationship. This is after she found out that he was a married man.

Benedicta Gafah in the post wrote to address Afia Schwarzenegger wrote

“This is the only time I will

address this situation and I won’t go into detail! My dear @queenafiaschwarzenegger , regardless of everything that has transpired between me and you, I love you as a strong woman that doesn’t conform to society and men! Moreso because I have see you stand up to men that want to belittle and abuse women!

I was abused by a man who was in denial that I left him because I found out that he was married and I refused to continue the relationship we were in, after his wife called me to narrate everything to me. When the man that sent you the picture of my brutally beaten face, my wish was that you ask him What kind of man take joy and pleasure for doing such a heinous act and then send to people?

Why does he want me to take the case out of court by reaching out to soo many respectable people? Why is he offering me things to end this matter in court? I will let the laws of the country take care of the rest!! I know there are lots of victims like me being abused emotionally and physically every single day but are scared to speak out just because of what society will say.

There’s this negative stigma to people in the entertainment industry especially women. People perceive us to be evil and money hungry but deep down lots of us have hearts of gold. There are thousands of ladies being abused daily. This is a PROBLEM! I’m not ashamed of this picture at all. This picture is a reflection of our world today and the plight women go through every day. I went through this 4 years ago and by the Lords grace, look at me now. I have favor with the Lord and living my best life!!!”
