Channel Manager for Joy Prime, Nana Yaa Serwaa Sarpong gets an awards. The organizers of the CAMPUS BAZE Awards 2018 awarded her as the Outstanding Channel manager. Moreover, this is for her leadership and contribution to Ghana’s Media landscape.

Nana Yaa Serwaa Sarpong’s long and distinguished career in Television started back in 1999. Furthermore, her consistency is umatched. The astute Media Professional Celebrates her 20 years of media practice, next year. Also, they recognized Joy Prime for its support of the Industry as well as Student activities.

The Campus Base (C-Baze) Awards Event took place at the National Theatre. It is an Awards scheme designed and voted on by students to recognize, celebrate the hard work and dedication of various students and personalities who have excelled in their various endeavors.

The Moesha Buduong – Efia Odo catfight heats up. This is because the two slay queens continue with the shade towards each other.

Over the weekend, Moesha released certain keys about Efia Odo. However, it seems Efia won’t go out without a fight.

In the post on Instagram, Efia Odo describes Moesha as an internet thug. According to Efia, Moesha is only bold to talk trash to her face through her mobile phone. Moreover, she tells Moesha to be bold to say the things she says on the internet to her face when she sees her in person if she is not afraid

Efia further stated that she is not as fake as Moesha. Also, she practices what she preaches on social media.

There’s new beef between Moesha Boudong and Efia Odo.

Over the weekend, Ghanaian actress, Moesha went on Instagram for a rant against Odo.

Moreover, she dropped some wild allegations on Instagram against Miss Odo.

Moesha further alleged that her colleague actress aborted a baby for a musician Efia knew had a girlfriend. Also, she continued that Efia sleeps with footballers, big men and famous personalities in the country. However, none of her affairs yielded her any positive positive results.

Veteran music producer, Fred Kyei Mensah comments on the Fella Makafui and Medikal relationship. According to him, the two are like juveniles. Moreover, this is because of all the social media brouhaha following their relationship.

Medikal bought this new car for Fella for the troubles he caused her with her unknown ‘Sugar Daddy’. This was after the man seized the two cars he bought for Fella because she decided to publicly display her love for rapper MDK.

Legendary singer, Yvonne Chaka Chaka spoke to a cross-section of musicians. She spoke about the issues of sexual harassment and exchange of sexual favours. Ghanaian comedian, DKB defends Shatta Wale. A few days ago, there was a video of Shatta Wale’s embarrassing freestyle on BBC Radio.

Moreover, many industry players and music lovers reacted to the ‘kaikai’ hit maker’s freestyle.

The latest to add his voice is comedian DKB.

DKB quickly jumped to the defence of Shatta Wale. He further questioned the minds of those who criticized the freestyle.

According to the popular comedian,’judging someone unfairly exposes your logical ability’.

He added that people are subjective in judging based on hate they feel towards others. He made his feelings known on Twitter.

“This is for those who watched the Shatta Wale freestyle without the beats, here you can hear it clearly. Unfairly judging someone’s work exposes your logical prowess. Don’t let intense hate drag you into shame. #SupportYourOwn”

Producer and sound engineer, Kaywa talks about tithes. According to him, alms giving is not the same as paying tithe.

A few days ago John Dumelo stated that his money is for the needy than to pay tithe in church.

Therefore, Kaywa reacted to this. Moreover, he disagreed and stated that not every pastor is interested in extorting money from his or her church members.

“They are two different things, they are all giving anyway but there is difference. I can’t say paying of tithe is not from God because people have been blessed through the payment of tithe. According to the Bible, God will protect your work and finance when you pay tithe but when you give it will come back to you doubled so they are different”

Also, he touched on church offerings and cleared misconceptions surrounding it.

“I don’t also agree when someone says I won’t go to church because the pastor will take my money. It’s not every pastor that has that perception. You are mistaken if you think the offering you are giving goes to the pastor’s pocket. It’s for the work of God so don’t concentrate on where the money will land but concentrate on the fact that you are in the presence of God and you have given something to support his work. Worship is not only about going to church to sing and listen to the word of God, worship is also about giving your substance and the substance is your money so they both work”

Ghanaian artiste, Shatta Wale continues his tirade.

During the week, he sparked a thunderstorm after he described Ghana as a village.

Moreover, Wale’s words drew a storm of criticism on his head and as usual. However, the criticisms from his fans and Ghanaians has his ire up. He took to Facebook to talk about feelings.

During the video, Shatta Wale claims that he would shut down radio stations in Ghana and no one can do anything about it.

According to him, in his entire life no one has ever helped him, not even his parents. Therefore, he can do whatever he likes whenever he likes.

Wale added that if he closes down the radio station no one can stop him, not even President Akufo-Addo or the Ghana police.

Sad news hits the NPP.

NPP Member of Parliament, Emmanuel Kyeremanteng Agyarko passes away. He was the MP for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency in the Greater Accra Region,

Moreover, he passed away late Wednesday after suffering an illness.

Emmanuel Agyarko was in the United States receiving medical care for his ailment when his untimely demise occurred.

He was 60.

A trained pharmacist and medical doctor, Agyarko won the Ayawaso West Wuogon seat in 2012, replacing current Chief of Staff Frema Osei Opare in the seat. He won reelection in 2016.

He is survived by a wife and seven children. May he rest in peace.

Kumawood actress, Maame Serwaah says she is not a slay queen. Therefore, people people should not tag her with that brand.

She made these statements in an interview with Nana Romeo Welewele on Accra100.5FM’s mid-morning show

“I don’t know why they select some people as slay queens, I don’t know if it is the way they dress or is it the character they show on social media.

“Someone’s lifestyle on social media may be different from their lifestyle in real life, so, I always say that before you say something bad or listen to something about someone, you must meet the person first and know the person’s character for yourself. Knowing all these you can then conclude that the person is bad or good.

“I’m not snobbish. I may not have met the people spreading this rumour in person, and they may be saying that because I haven’t engaged them personally, but when they get to meet me, they will change their perception.”
