I’m Disappointed In Organisers Of AFRIMA – Prince Mackay

The CEO of Big Events Ghana, Prince Mackay, has lashed out at the organizers of the All

Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA).

Prince’s disappointment follows the failure of the event organizers to have

created just a single slot for gospel music.

According to him, gospel music as a genre of music is one that has been a great pillar

for the continent and he does not understand why the organizers of the awards decided

to turn a blind eye to it.

Mr Mackay was speaking in an interview with popular blogger Zionfelix.

“I was so disappointed that organizers couldn’t just provide one slot for gospel music…Africa has many top gospel acts…” Prince Mackay stated.

The Big Events boss in throwing the jabs the way of the organizers of the AFRIMA awards

also called on the ministry to help with a new awards scheme for gospel music he has introduced.

Mackay urged the ministry to come on board to make this African gospel music awards

scheme a huge success just like they have done for AFRIMA recently.

He made the point that what the ministry did for AFRIMA is just for secular music and as such, they should do the same for gospel music by investing in his awards.

Prince Mackay further told Zionfelix that his awards scheme has been already launched in Accra. He also revealed that the scheme has already signed partnership deals with top media houses like EIB, Praise TV, DSTV, and PBN Africa.

The climax of the AFRIMA was on the 24th of November 2018 at the Accra International

Conference Centre (AICC). There were 22 categories for the awards.

These categories were Album of the Year, Best Artist, Duo or Group of the Year in an African

country, Best African DJ, Best African Rapper or Lyricist, Most Promising Artiste in Africa,

Producer of the Year, Revelation of the African Continent, Song of the Year and Songwriter

of the Year and many others but none for gospel music.

Skeleton Of Lovers Found Embracing Each Other In A Grave (Photos)

We all have heard of lovers dying for each other and with each other in books like Romeo and Juliet, and have seen those hopeless romantics on-screen in movies, but I doubt that anyone has ever seen or heard of such a real story, but one such story has recently come out in the light.

In a grave in Ukraine, a couple has been found sleeping there together for 3000 years now. Their bodies were locked with each other, embracing each other for literally thousands of years now.

The archeologists, says the woman was alive when she stepped into the grave and chose to die with her lover. They could say this by looking at her posture and the way she held her partner.

According to the experts, it is impossible that the dead woman’s body was placed in such a way.

The ancient couple belonged to the Bronze Age, and most probably belonged to prehistoric Vysotskaya/Wysocko- the culture that was found near Petrykiv village, which is in the south of the Ternopil city in western Ukraine.

Both of the lovers were found on their back, facing each other, with the woman’s right-hand hugging and her wrist kept on the right shoulder of the man. Her legs bent were resting on the stretched out legs of the man. Both of them had bronze jewelry on.

Can such love be found these days?

Your responses are welcome!

professionally they play too much with their music career.

He noted that because they think they have got the talent, they feel so much relaxed and

individually Mugeez is well-known for smoking whiles Paedae is well-known for showing off?

He further added that he’ll personally not recommend the group to any event promoter because they feel like they are okay and they don’t even take the music business with all seriousness.

“Paedae and Mugeez don’t see the game as a competition and I think they are just doing music for fun and not for business. They have a huge following on social media but personally, they are not even active and connective with their followers and that is really making them lose lots of their loyal fans,” he said.

Gospel Music Not ‘Freelance Singing’ – Francis Agyei To Contemporary Artistes

Ace Christian praise and worship leader, Francis Agyei, says the Gospel music genre

is dying because artistes do not consider it as a Ministry.

According to him, doing gospel music goes far beyond just having a powerful voice.

“Some of them [artistes] think they have the voice but it goes beyond that; it is a ministry and it has the gifting of God,” Francis Agyei told Myjoyonline recently in a conversation.

He continued: “What they are doing is ‘freelance singing’ because they do not

belong and submit to teachings of a church in order to propagate the message properly.”

He is therefore not surprised many of such acts are seeing their career take a nosedive

almost immediately after they rise to stardom.
